Job Purpose
The Senior Administrator will provide efficient and professional administrative support by responding to client and intermediary queries, managing administration processes, and ensuring service excellence while complying with company policies and industry legislation.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
- 3–5 years of relevant administrative experience
- Employee benefits experience (essential)
- Extensive industry and product knowledge
- Good understanding of relevant legislation
- Successful completion of Yenzani training (preferred)
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Manage the team mailbox effectively
- Administer Credit Control accounts for Retirement and Risk portfolios
- Manage risk claims accruals
- Assist with preparing Quarterly Administration Reports
- Verify claims and contribution reconciliations
- Handle client and intermediary queries promptly
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legislation
- Identify, mitigate, and escalate operational risks where necessary
- Deliver services in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Maintain excellent client service and client retention
- Support the Administration Manager with daily operations
- Assist the Contact Centre when required
- Resolve customer complaints within agreed timeframes
- Recommend improvements to enhance service delivery
