About the Job

The Assistant General Worker will provide general assistance to site teams and support day-to-day operations. The successful candidate must be safety-conscious, physically fit and willing to work in a site-based environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support site teams in achieving operational targets.
  • Assist with daily inspections of assigned work areas.
  • Identify and report hazards or deviations.
  • Assist with pipeline and valve operations under supervision.
  • Support teams in resolving operational challenges.
  • Escalate problems and deviations to the relevant site team.
  • Perform general site activities as assigned.
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas through basic housekeeping.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Comply with company safety rules, regulations and procedures.

Requirements

Qualification:

  • Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
