About the Job

The Shop Assistant Cashier will provide excellent customer service while handling point-of-sale transactions, cash payments, merchandising and general store duties. The successful candidates will also promote Clicks ClubCard membership, promotions and products to help create a positive customer shopping experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process sales and point-of-sale transactions efficiently.
  • Scan merchandise accurately and collect customer payments.
  • Handle cash safely and responsibly.
  • Promote Clicks ClubCard and register new members.
  • Inform customers about promotions and special offers.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service.
  • Maintain merchandising and housekeeping standards.
  • Keep products and displays properly organised.
  • Maintain knowledge of products, promotions, ranges and events.
  • Follow store procedures and company policies.
  • Support Clicks’ goal of providing customers with quality health and beauty retail services.

Requirements

Education:

  • Grade 12 / Matric – Essential

Experience:
