The Road Traffic Infringement Agency (RTIA) is inviting suitably qualified South African candidates to apply for 15 Call Centre Agent positions. These three-year fixed-term contract opportunities are ideal for candidates with a Matric certificate and experience in administration, customer service, or call centre operations.
Successful candidates will provide customer support related to the Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences (AARTO) Act by assisting members of the public and issuing authorities with enquiries, applications, and general information.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants applying for RTIA Call Centre Agent must have:
- Matric Certificate (NQF Level 4).
- Administration experience in a support services environment.
- Experience in data capturing.
- General office administration experience.
- Previous experience working as a Call Centre Agent.
- Computer literacy.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Added Advantage
- Knowledge of the AARTO Act.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
Agency Call Centre Services
- Answer telephone, email and fax enquiries.
- Escalate customer queries to relevant RTIA departments.
- Advise callers on the status of:
- Representations.
- Instalment applications.
- Revocation of enforcement orders.
- Explain AARTO procedures and required documentation.
Issuing Authority Support
- Provide updates on:
- Election to be tried in court applications.
- Driver nomination requests.
- Handle special arrangements relating to AARTO elective options.
- Print incoming fax documents received through the fax-to-email system.
- Acknowledge applications for:
- Instalments.
- Representations.
- Revocation of enforcement orders.
- Capture and distribute applications to the relevant RTIA sections.
