EWSETA Electrical Engineering Graduate Internship Programme 2026
The Energy and Water Sector Education and Training Authority (EWSETA), in partnership with City Power Johannesburg (SOC) Ltd, is inviting applications from unemployed South African graduates for the Electrical Engineering Graduate Internship Programme 2026.
This 24-month internship programme is designed to provide graduates with structured workplace learning, practical industry experience, and professional development within South Africa’s energy sector. A total of 120 internship positions are available for qualified Electrical Engineering graduates.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a South African citizen with a valid South African ID.
- Be unemployed at the time of application.
- Be younger than 35 years.
- Hold an NQF Level 7 or NQF Level 8 qualification in Electrical Engineering from a recognised and accredited higher education institution.
- Be academically eligible for professional registration with the relevant statutory professional council.
