Premier FMCG is hiring a General Worker: Picker at the Premier Durban Wheat Mill in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. This is a full-time opportunity for candidates with Grade 12 and previous warehouse experience.

The successful candidate will assist with stock picking, sorting, cycle counts, housekeeping and other warehouse activities while following food safety and workplace safety standards.

General Worker: Picker Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting warehouse and picking operations.

Key duties include:

  • Sorting and organising stock.
  • Picking customer and warehouse orders accurately.
  • Conducting cycle counts.
  • Following safe working practices at all times.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping in the work area.
  • Following company standard operating procedures.
  • Adhering to food safety and quality standards.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Working towards operational targets and productivity requirements.

Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • 2–3 years of previous warehouse experience.
  • Previous FMCG experience will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse environment.
  • Own reliable transportation to and from work.
