The successful candidates will provide administrative and customer support at AARTO Service Outlets by assisting members of the public with traffic infringement enquiries, processing AARTO transactions, maintaining records, and promoting public awareness of AARTO services.
Key Responsibilities
Successful applicants will:
- Assist members of the public with Know Your Traffic Fine Status enquiries.
- Receive, capture, scan, and upload AARTO elective option forms.
- Process transactions on the National Contraventions Register (NCR).
- Provide professional customer service at AARTO Service Outlets.
- Maintain accurate filing and administrative records.
- Prepare meeting minutes, reports, and official documents.
- Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and emails.
- Conduct AARTO public education and awareness campaigns.
- Refer complex AARTO enquiries to the Call Centre or Head Office.
- Shred successfully processed documents in accordance with procedures.
- Perform additional administrative duties assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Matric (Grade 12) (NQF Level 4).
- A National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Administration or an equivalent qualification.
- At least one year’s relevant administrative support experience.
Added Advantages
The following will strengthen your application:
- Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7).
- One year’s AARTO administration experience.
- Knowledge of the AARTO Act and related legislation.
- Experience using the National Traffic Information System (NaTIS).
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
