Job Purpose (Light Duty)

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting vehicle parts safely and efficiently between suppliers, customers, and Motus branches while ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining company vehicles in good condition.

Key Responsibilities

As a Driver: Light Duty, your duties will include:

  • Deliver vehicle parts to customers, suppliers, and other branches.
  • Collect parts from suppliers and customers.
  • Ensure all parts are transported safely without damage.
  • Inspect delivery vehicles for defects and roadworthiness before use.
  • Report vehicle damages, accidents, and traffic violations immediately.
  • Assist customers during deliveries.
  • Ensure company vehicles are securely locked after use.
  • Store vehicle keys safely in the designated key box or reception.
  • Report missing tools, spare wheels, or vehicle defects to the supervisor.
  • Perform additional duties as required by management.
  • Work overtime when operationally required.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • A valid South African driver’s licence.
  • A valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
  • A clear criminal record.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
