Minimum Requirements

Applicants applying for General Worker must have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • 2–3 years of picker experience in an FMCG warehouse environment
  • Warehouse-related learnership (advantageous)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Good physical fitness and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Product Picking

  • Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure the correct products and quantities are selected.
  • Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
  • Follow warehouse picking procedures at all times.

Safe Working Practices

  • Follow all workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Handle products safely to prevent damage.

Housekeeping

  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Keep warehouse aisles free from obstructions.
  • Ensure workstations meet company housekeeping standards.

Standard Operating Procedures

  • Assist supervisors with operational tasks when required.
