DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND INFRASTRUCTURE is looking for cleaners in facility management. The successful candidate will get paid the salary of R104 073 per annum CENTRE : Mmabatho Regional Office (Potchefstroom Magistrate Court).
Senior Certificate/ Grade 12, ABET 2, 3, 4, Standard 8 or Grade 10 or similar credentials. Good interpersonal skills, basic communication and reading. Ability to execute everyday chores. Knowledge about utilization of cleaning products.
Cleaning toilets, basins and wall tiles, empty and wash dustbins. Sweeping passageways, floors and offices. Scrubbing, moping and polishing floor. Dust and polish furnitures.

The Z83 form must be signed prior to submission, To shorten the recruitment process to be more responsive to the public and to establish more protective measures during the pandemic by preventing overcrowding and reducing the expenses spent by candidates, the following certification-related steps should be implemented: Advertisement and related notes must elucidate the certification criteria so that candidates may meet them. Note that candidates are not needed to send copies of their credentials and other essential papers with their application, but they must submit the Z83 and a complete curriculum vitae.
The department’s HR department will only communicate with applicants who have been selected on the criteria for verified papers. Following HR’s message, only selected applicants for a position will be needed to provide certified papers on or before the day of the interview. Under the “extra information” part of the application for employment form (Z83), applicants chosen for interviews will be required to supply further certified information that may be required to reach a final decision.
Remember that when a document is certified as a genuine copy of an original, the certifier just affirms that it is a true copy of the provided original. Therefore, the certification procedure does not validate the original document’s legitimacy. The validation happens when the legitimacy of the document is confirmed. Regulation 67 (9) requires the executive authority to ensure that he or she is fully satisfied with the claims being made, which, when read in conjunction with Regulation (57) (c), mandates the completion of Personnel Suitability Checks to verify claims and determine whether the candidate is fit for employment.
