Assistant General Worker Responsibilities

The successful candidates will assist site teams with general operational activities and ensure assigned tasks are completed safely and according to company procedures.

Duties include:

  • Support site teams in achieving operational goals and targets.
  • Assist with daily inspections of designated work areas.
  • Report hazards, deviations and unsafe conditions to the relevant site team.
  • Assist with pipeline and valve operations under supervision.
  • Support teams in identifying and resolving operational challenges.
  • Escalate operational deviations when necessary.
  • Perform general site activities as assigned.
  • Complete basic housekeeping duties in work areas.
  • Maintain clean and safe working areas.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Comply with company safety rules, regulations and procedures.

Requirements

Qualification

  • Grade 12 / Matric.

Experience

  • At least one year of relevant work experience.
