About the TWK Agri Cashier Role
As a Cashier, you will ensure that all customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. In addition to operating the till, you will assist with stock control, shelf merchandising, pricing, and maintaining a clean and organised checkout area.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and enjoys interacting with customers.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Process customer purchases accurately.
- Receive payments by cash and card.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, and correct change.
- Count and balance cash drawers at the beginning of each shift.
- Sort, count, and wrap notes and coins.
- Calculate prices using cash registers or scanners.
- Greet and assist customers professionally.
- Bag, box, and wrap purchased merchandise.
- Prepare customer packages for collection or shipment.
- Keep checkout areas clean and organised.
- Stock shelves and label merchandise.
- Conduct stock takes.
- Assist with general store duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
