About the PepsiCo Long Haul Driver Jobs

PepsiCo is recruiting 11 Long Haul Drivers in Worcester, South Africa. The successful drivers will be responsible for delivering PepsiCo products to customers and IDC depots while ensuring safe, efficient and reliable transportation.

This opportunity is suitable for experienced professional drivers who hold a Code 14 driver’s licence and Professional Driving Permit (PDP).

Long Haul Driver Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Delivering products safely to customers and IDC depots.
  • Following safe and responsible driving practices at all times.
  • Avoiding speeding and traffic-related fines.
  • Conducting initial fault-finding when vehicle breakdowns occur.
  • Performing tyre changes when required and where appropriately trained.
  • Reporting vehicle defects promptly.
  • Ensuring the safety and proper condition of assigned vehicles.
  • Inspecting tyres before every trip.
  • Maintaining fuel consumption within the agreed standard.
  • Complying with company safety procedures and applicable road regulations.
  • Supporting reliable and timely product deliveries.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • A valid Code 14 driver’s licence.
  • A valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
  • At least 2 years of driving experience.
  • The ability to perform long-haul driving duties safely and responsibly.
  • Good knowledge of vehicle safety and inspection procedures.
  • The ability to identify and report vehicle defects.
  • A strong commitment to road safety and responsible driving.
