About the Role

As a Driver: Light Duty, you will support warehouse and logistics operations by transporting, receiving, storing, and dispatching automotive parts safely and efficiently. You will also operate a forklift to move stock within the warehouse while ensuring compliance with company procedures and health and safety regulations.

This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate inventory, efficient warehouse operations, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will:

  • Operate a forklift safely to transport automotive parts and materials.
  • Load and unload supplier deliveries and transport vehicles.
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming stock.
  • Pick and stage stock for customer orders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse systems.
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and report defects.
  • Assist with stock counts and inventory audits.
  • Verify part numbers, quantities, and product quality.
  • Maintain clean and organised warehouse areas.
  • Follow all health, safety, and warehouse procedures.
  • Assist with packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
  • Support receiving, routing, and stock staging activities.
  • Ensure pallets are stacked safely and correctly.
  • Pack stock accurately according to destination requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • At least 3 years’ delivery driving experience.
  • A valid Forklift Driver Licence.
  • A valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
  • Good communication skills.
