Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this General Worker position, applicants must have:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate (essential)
- Basic computer literacy

Key Responsibilities
Receiving and Binning
The successful candidate will:
- Receive and inspect incoming stock according to company standards
- Allocate new products to the correct warehouse bin locations
- Update bin locations when stock is moved
- Replenish stock from bulk storage to picking locations
- Assist with inventory replenishment activities
Picking and Packing
Responsibilities include:
- Pick customer and branch orders accurately and on time
- Follow warehouse procedures when picking stock
- Assist with stock takes and inventory counts
- Perform daily housekeeping duties
- Double-check orders to reduce errors and stock losses
- Meet daily operational performance targets
- Follow all lawful instructions from supervisors
Scanner Control
The role also involves:
- Issuing scanners to warehouse operators each day
- Recording scanner allocations using the electronic application
- Receiving and inspecting scanners after use
- Reporting damaged scanners to the supervisor
- Completing the daily scanner issue register
