Minimum Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- At least 1 year of administration experience
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Stock Administration
- Receive and compare stock against delivery notes.
- File delivery notes and assist with stock receiving duties.
- Process stock documentation accurately.
- Collect electronic invoices and match them with delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Ensure stock codes, prices, and quantities match purchase orders.
Claims Management
- Capture and process warranty claims.
- Handle damaged, short, surplus, and expired stock claims.
- Follow up on outstanding supplier invoices and credit notes.
- Resolve stock discrepancies with suppliers.
Reporting and Inventory
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Produce reports on outstanding claims and purchase orders.
- Generate stock-taking reports.
- Assist with quarterly stock counts.
- Capture stock count sheets into the system.
- Prepare variance reports and report discrepancies to management.
Cash Administration
- Perform daily cash-ups.
- Ensure cash shortages and surpluses are handled according to company policy.
- Submit daily cash balance and discrepancy reports to the Regional Banking Clerk.
Customer Service
- Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Respond to client queries efficiently and professionally.
