About the HEINEKEN Forklift Driver Job

HEINEKEN Beverages Careers is inviting applications for a Driver FL (Forklift Driver) position at its Wadeville Production facility in Germiston.

The successful candidate will work in the Warehouse Department and be responsible for safely operating a forklift, moving finished goods, loading trucks and supporting efficient warehouse and dispatch operations.

Driver FL Forklift Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Operating forklifts safely and efficiently according to company standards.
  • Completing daily forklift pre-use inspections.
  • Reporting forklift defects and unsafe conditions.
  • Stacking, retrieving and transporting products according to instructions and SOPs.
  • Loading finished goods onto trucks and transport vehicles.
  • Ensuring products remain stable and undamaged during handling.
  • Checking stock quantities before dispatch.
  • Completing accurate documentation for stock movements and loading.
  • Following warehouse safety rules, site procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Participating in TPM activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Reporting unsafe acts, conditions and near misses.
  • Supporting innovation and team-performance initiatives.
  • Assisting with broader warehouse duties when required.

Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
  • A valid forklift driver’s licence – essential.
  • 1–2 years’ experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience loading and unloading trucks.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety and safe working procedures.
  • Experience handling finished goods or FMCG products is advantageous.
  • Good English proficiency, including reading and writing.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet dispatch deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Medical fitness for the role.
