Purpose of the Role (Driver)

The Driver will provide safe, reliable, and professional transportation services for FlySafair crew and staff while ensuring company vehicles remain clean, roadworthy, and compliant with all road safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Safely transport crew and staff between airports, hotels, training centres, and other designated locations.
  • Complete ad-hoc collections and deliveries as required.
  • Ensure punctual transport services to support operational schedules.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects immediately.
  • Keep company vehicles clean, presentable, and roadworthy.
  • Monitor vehicle servicing schedules and licence renewals.
  • Maintain accurate mileage, fuel, and trip records.
  • Submit receipts and reports on time.
  • Comply with company safety, security, and road traffic regulations.
  • Deliver professional, courteous, and customer-focused service at all times.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
  • Valid Code B Driver’s Licence.
  • Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
  • At least 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably transporting staff or crew.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Be medically fit.
