Job Overview

Ampath Laboratories is looking for a Courier to join its Giyani Depot in Limpopo. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting medical specimens, reports and parcels.

This role plays an important part in supporting timely diagnostic services and maintaining high standards of patient care.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Valid South African Code B and Code A driver’s licences
  • At least 1 year of general driving experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
  • A strong commitment to safety and punctuality
  • Professional and reliable customer service skills

Key Responsibilities

The Courier will be responsible for:

  • Transporting medical specimens, reports and parcels safely.
  • Following assigned routes and schedules.
  • Handling medical specimens with care and attention to detail.
  • Ensuring specimens and documents reach the correct destinations.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Representing Ampath professionally when interacting with customers.
  • Supporting reliable and timely laboratory services.
  • Following company procedures and safety requirements.
  • Maintaining a high standard of service and accountability.

Working Hours

  • 45 hours per week
  • 6-day work week
  • Weekend, public holiday and after-hours work may be required.
