About the Collections Agent Position

The Collections Agent will be responsible for engaging with customers and businesses to recover outstanding and overdue payments. The role requires someone who can communicate professionally with customers, negotiate realistic repayment arrangements and work consistently towards collection targets.

The successful candidate will also be expected to manage customer accounts according to established collection strategies and maintain accurate records of all interactions.

This role is particularly suited to candidates who have previous experience in debt collections, credit control, accounts receivable or customer-focused call centre environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact customers regarding overdue accounts.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments through calls, emails and statements.
