Code 14 Driver Job Purpose

VKB Group is seeking a reliable and professional Code 14 Driver to join its Distribution Centre in Bethlehem. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting and delivering goods safely and on time while ensuring excellent customer service, accurate stock handling, and compliance with company safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Transport and deliver goods safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure deliveries are completed on schedule.
  • Minimise operational risks during transportation.
  • Report all incidents and accidents promptly to management.
  • Monitor loading and offloading of stock to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate stock control during transportation.
  • Provide professional customer service during deliveries.
  • Complete all required delivery documentation and administrative duties.
  • Comply with company safety policies and road traffic regulations.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 qualification.
  • Valid Code 14 driver’s licence.
  • Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar driving position.
  • A proven track record of safe and professional driving.

Advantageous Experience

The following will be beneficial:

  • Experience within the agriculture industry.
  • Knowledge of agricultural product transportation.
