Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- At least 1 year of experience in a direct sales environment
- Computer literacy
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of retail policies and procedures
- Knowledge of AFGRI Retail product range will be advantageous
- Animal health product knowledge will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Assist walk-in customers with professional and friendly service.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Promote additional products to increase sales.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Resolve customer queries efficiently.
Sales and Stock Control
- Monitor stock levels and request stock replenishment when required.
- Receive stock from the receiving department.
- Verify stock quantities and ensure accurate stock counts.
- Ensure products are correctly priced before being displayed.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts.
- Help maintain accurate inventory records.
Branch Operations
- Support the smooth running of daily retail operations.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Assist with general branch duties when required.
