About the Role

The Admin Team Leader will manage the store’s administrative processes, including banking, stock administration, reporting, scheduling, and cash management. The role is essential in ensuring that daily administrative operations run smoothly while supporting excellent customer service and overall store performance.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric Certificate)
  • Minimum of 1 year administration experience in a retail environment
  • Own reliable transport or reliable transport to work shifts
  • Good computer literacy

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Manage all store administration functions
  • Administer daily banking and reconciliations
  • Process daily cash-ups and balance cash received
  • Prepare cash deposits for banking
  • Report shortages, discrepancies, refunds, exchanges, and price overrides
  • Manage the receipt and dispatch of stock according to company procedures
  • Scan and email stock documentation to Head Office
  • Prepare reports for Store Manager approval
  • Maintain office housekeeping standards
  • Coordinate weekly stock counts
  • Plan and administer stock takes
  • Manage stock take processes
  • Prepare employee work schedules for approval
  • Update price changes electronically and manually
  • Maintain stock-related administration and reporting
  • Order and control stationery supplies
  • Control departmental expenses
  • Protect company assets
  • Perform additional administrative duties assigned by management
