The Road Accident Fund (RAF) is inviting applications from unemployed young South Africans for its Technology and Digital Learnership Programme in Pretoria, Gauteng.
This 12-month learnership provides an opportunity for young people who have completed Grade 12 to gain practical workplace experience and develop valuable technology and digital skills.

Who Can Apply?
This RAF learnership is aimed at unemployed young people aged 18 to 23 who have completed Matric (Grade 12) only.
Applicants must also:
- Be unemployed.
- Have never been employed in the field of the learnership.
- Not have previously participated in a learnership programme in the relevant field.
- Not have previously served as a learner.
- Be willing to undergo security vetting.
- Meet all RAF application requirements.
Applicants who previously served as learners and fail to disclose this information may be disqualified.
Technology and Digital Learnership Duties
Successful learners will receive workplace exposure in areas such as information technology, desktop support and digital systems.
Training and workplace exposure may include:
- Troubleshooting hardware, operating systems, software and user profiles.
- Assisting with connectivity and desktop-related technical issues.
- Installing, configuring and troubleshooting business applications.
- Supporting employees with IT-related problems.
- Monitoring devices through Microsoft Intune.
- Checking device compliance with organisational policies.
- Identifying non-compliant devices and taking corrective action.
- Performing software updates and manual security patches.
- Responding to user calls and ICT incidents.
- Diagnosing and resolving basic computer problems.
- Troubleshooting monitors, keyboards, mice, docking stations and other ICT equipment.
- Conducting ICT asset verification.
- Ensuring technology equipment is correctly recorded and assigned.
- Troubleshooting printer connectivity, drivers, configuration and hardware issues.
Qualifications and Documents Required
Applicants must provide:
- Certified copy of their Grade 12/Matric certificate.
- Certified copy of their South African ID.
- A short CV.
- A motivational letter explaining why they should be considered.
The CV and motivational letter should not exceed three pages in total.

Technology and Digital Learnership Stipend
