Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Grade 12 / Matric – Essential
- Valid Code 14 Driver’s Licence with PDP – Essential
- 2–4 years of experience in driving, logistics, fleet operations or FMCG operational support
- Experience transporting event equipment, stock or promotional materials is advantageous
- Exposure to customer-facing or event environments is preferred

Key Duties and Responsibilities
The Special Events Driver will:
- Safely transport event stock, branding materials, equipment, trailers, coolers, gazebos and promotional assets.
- Drive, operate and maintain roadshow and delivery trucks.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and cleanliness checks.
- Report vehicle maintenance requirements and ensure vehicles remain roadworthy.
- Assist with event setup, branding, stock loading and offloading.
- Support event breakdown and recovery of company assets.
- Safeguard stock, promotional materials and equipment during transportation.
- Follow road safety, PPE, SHEQ and company vehicle procedures.
- Plan efficient routes to ensure on-time delivery to events.
- Provide professional service to customers, venues, suppliers and internal teams.
- Work closely with event coordinators, assistants, warehouse teams and event crews.
- Report accidents, vehicle damage, operational risks and compliance issues.
- Support improvements in fleet utilisation, transport efficiency and event readiness.
- Represent CCBSA professionally in public and customer-facing environments.
