10 Shop Assistant / Cashiers Job Overview

Clicks is hiring 10 Shop Assistant / Cashiers for its Tshilamba Mulate store in Thohoyandou.

The successful candidates will provide excellent customer service, operate the point-of-sale system, process payments accurately, promote Clicks ClubCard memberships and assist with merchandising and general store duties.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 / Matric

Key Responsibilities

Cashier and Point of Sale

  • Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Scan merchandise and collect payments.

  • Promote ClubCard membership and register new members.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy when processing transactions.

Customer Service

  • Provide friendly, professional and efficient customer service.
  • Act as a Clicks brand ambassador.
  • Assist customers with product-related queries.
  • Keep up to date with products, ranges, promotions and events.
  • Inform customers about current promotions and special offers.
  • Work toward creating a positive customer experience.

Merchandising and Store Operations

  • Perform merchandising duties according to Clicks standards.
  • Maintain general housekeeping in the store.
  • Follow store and visual merchandising standards.
  • Assist with stock management procedures.
  • Support the store’s operational objectives.
  • Follow company procedures and instructions.
