Job Purpose (Premier FMCG General Worker)

The purpose of this role is to pack various products according to company specifications, ensuring the packing department operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, food safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Receiving raw materials accurately from suppliers.
  • Applying First-In, First-Out (FIFO) stock rotation procedures.
  • Pulling, weighing, and returning raw materials for production batches.
  • Verifying raw materials against official blending records.
  • Recording batch information for traceability and food safety.
  • Maintaining accurate production documentation.
  • Reporting quality issues and documentation discrepancies.
  • Performing daily scale verification.
  • Stacking and wrapping finished product pallets.
  • Maintaining housekeeping by keeping the work area clean.
  • Following all quality, health, and safety procedures.
  • Carrying out additional duties assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants applying for Premier FMCG General Worker should have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • 1–2 years’ experience in the FMCG industry.
