Job Purpose (General Worker)
The General Worker will support production and warehouse activities by accurately recording production information, managing stock movements, maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting with operational tasks to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a General Worker, you will:
- Capture production and stock movements accurately on Oracle systems.
- Process stock transactions correctly and on time.
- Balance and reconcile stock after each shift.
- Conduct daily stock counts and reconciliations.
- Investigate and report stock discrepancies.
- Provide stock and production reports to supervisors.
- Prepare, label, and stretch-wrap pallets.
- Ensure compliance, traceability, and quality documentation accompanies all pallets.
- Assist with receiving, staging, moving, and dispatching stock.
- Complete production and inventory documentation accurately.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Assist with stock audits and inventory investigations.
- Support production teams with general operational duties.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants applying for General Worker should have:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Excellent mathematical and numerical skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Computer literacy and the ability to use stock management systems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical fitness to perform manual work.
