About the Role

The General Assistant will provide support with planned, reactive and preventative maintenance activities. The role requires someone who is practical, dependable and able to follow safety procedures and instructions.

The successful candidate will work in line with client requirements, occupational health and safety standards, company procedures and service-level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planned, reactive and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Support basic plumbing, carpentry and electrical work.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
  • Ensure maintenance work is completed according to OHS requirements.
  • Keep work areas clean, safe and organised.
  • Maintain tools, workshop areas and vehicles.
  • Prepare job cards and complete maintenance documentation.
  • Keep accurate maintenance and operational records.
  • Respond professionally to client queries.
  • Escalate maintenance issues and client concerns when required.
  • Follow company policies, procedures and safety standards.
