The Agricultural Research Council is hiring 10 Casual Workers to assist with orchard maintenance and general farm duties at its Burgershall facility.

Job Description

As a Casual Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing general orchard maintenance tasks
  • Carrying out manual duties assigned by supervisors
  • Using and maintaining tools and equipment
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for these Casual Worker jobs, you must:

  • Have Grade 10 or equivalent
  • Understand basic agricultural practices
  • Have basic knowledge of farm equipment and machinery
  • Be able to work in outdoor and challenging weather conditions

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Good communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour
