About the Role

As a Casual General Worker, you will provide support to warehouse and distribution operations whenever required. This is not a permanent position, and work will only be offered based on operational needs.

You will be paid only for the hours worked, and there are no guaranteed working hours or fixed schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties may include:

  • Packing and handling stock.
  • Assisting drivers with delivery documentation.
  • Loading and offloading trucks.
  • Lifting and moving bags weighing up to 40 kg.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse and surrounding work areas.
  • Accompanying drivers on delivery routes, including long-distance trips when required.
  • Performing other warehouse and distribution support duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Have Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4).
  • Be currently unemployed.
  • Live in Klerksdorp and be available at short notice.
  • Be physically fit and able to perform manual labour.

Advantageous

The following will strengthen your application:

  • A valid Code 10 (C1) driver’s licence with PrDP or a higher licence.
  • Experience in warehousing, stock control, logistics, FMCG, or distribution environments.
