The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is inviting applications for 5 Senior Grants Administrator positions at the Giyani Local Office in Mopani District, Limpopo.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants applying for Senior Grants Administrator must have:
- Senior Certificate (Matric).
- An undergraduate qualification at NQF Level 6 in one of the following fields:
- Public Administration
- Business Administration
- Economics
- Development Studies
- Finance
- Accounting
- Commerce
- Social Sciences
- Social Security
- The qualification must be recognised by SAQA.
- At least 3 years’ experience in Social Security.
- Computer literacy.
- A valid driver’s licence.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Conducting quality assurance and checking the completeness of supporting documents.
- Verifying grant applications, means-test requirements and related declarations.
- Approving or rejecting applications for various grant types.
- Supporting beneficiary maintenance and other grant value-chain processes.
- Coordinating medical bookings for assessments.
- Providing customer care and off-site services.
- Supervising the quality of social grant administration processes.
- Advising staff on relevant policies and grant application procedures.
- Managing staff performance and available resources.
- Ensuring compliance with Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
