About the Role
The Warehouse Assistant will support daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and IT asset management activities. The successful candidate will ensure accurate stock records, maintain warehouse documentation, and assist with the handling of IT equipment while following established procedures and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will:
- Support warehouse and inventory operations.
- Maintain accurate stock and asset records.
- Assist with IT asset management.
- Update inventory using Microsoft Excel.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform warehouse administration tasks.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and issuing equipment.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and proper record keeping.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Support operational requirements as needed.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- 1–2 years of warehouse, stores, inventory, or IT asset management experience.
- Previous warehouse experience (essential).
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
- Strong administrative and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
