Purpose of the Role (Weylandts General Worker)

The General Worker will support daily manufacturing operations by assisting skilled team members, preparing materials, maintaining clean work areas, and ensuring finished furniture products meet Weylandts’ quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support

As a General Worker, your duties will include:

  • Assisting with the manufacturing of furniture products
  • Loading, unloading, and transporting materials and finished products
  • Supporting upholsterers, carpenters, machinists, assemblers, sanders, and packers
  • Preparing materials, tools, and workstations before production starts
  • Performing basic furniture assembly and fitting tasks

Housekeeping

You will also be responsible for:

  • Keeping work areas clean, organised, and hazard-free
  • Removing waste materials according to company procedures
  • Maintaining factory cleanliness
  • Assisting with general housekeeping duties

Quality Control

Responsibilities include:
