Tracker Call Centre/Control Centre Learnership – track_001769

The Tracker Call Centre Learnership offers unemployed South African youth a 12-month opportunity to develop customer-service skills while completing structured learning and gaining workplace experience. Tracker Connect will place successful applicants in its Customer Experience and 24-Hour Critical Services Control Centres in Gauteng. The official vacancy title is Call Centre/Control Centre Learnership, reference track_001769, and applications close on 11 November 2026.

Who can apply for the Tracker Call Centre Learnership?

You must be a South African citizen with a valid South African ID, aged between 18 and 35, currently unemployed and without a criminal record. You must not be studying full-time, and the advert specifically requires that you have no previous formal work experience. Basic computer literacy is also required.

You need Matric with at least Level 4 English and a pass in Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy. A Matric certificate alone does not establish eligibility: check your English result and the relevant mathematics subject before starting your application. The employment, study and previous-work restrictions apply alongside these education requirements.

What you will learn

The programme combines structured learning with practical work towards a full qualification carrying 132 credits. You will develop skills in resolving customer enquiries, recording and updating customer information, handling electronic communication and maintaining accurate data. Learning about Tracker’s products, services and systems will help you respond to customers with appropriate information.

The learning areas also include sales support through upselling and cross-selling, contracting and scheduling. You will build an understanding of invoices, adjustments, advance payments, credit notes and payment allocations. These activities support the broader aim of improving your problem-solving ability and customer relationships in a professional service environment.

Working approach and programme conditions

Tracker is looking for people who communicate clearly, work well with others and pay attention to detail. You should be willing to learn, adapt when circumstances change and handle a fast-paced environment involving different tasks. A positive, professional approach and an interest in customer service are important parts of the selection criteria.

This is a fixed-term learnership lasting 12 months. Tracker will provide a stipend to help cover basic expenses, but the advert does not state an amount. No additional benefits apply during the programme. Preference will be given to applicants from designated groups in line with Tracker’s policies.
