SASSA Grants Administrator Requirements

Applicants must hold a relevant NQF Level 6 qualification recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).

Grants Administrator Duties

The successful candidates will be responsible for a range of grant administration and customer service functions, including:

  • Providing grant customer care services to beneficiaries.
  • Screening grant applications.
  • Capturing grant applications accurately.
  • Performing beneficiary maintenance functions.
  • Administering medical bookings and assessments.
  • Providing off-site grant application services to clients.
  • Scanning and batching files.
  • Assisting beneficiaries with grant-related enquiries and processes.
  • Maintaining accurate administrative records.
