Purpose of the Role (Call Centre)
The successful candidate will provide customer engagement services by handling customer enquiries through telephone, email, letters, and other communication channels. The goal is to resolve customer queries as quickly as possible while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
Qualification
Applicants must have:
- Diploma in Customer Relations, Customer Service, or a related qualification (NQF Level 5)
Experience

- 1–2 years’ experience in:

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
You will be responsible for:
- Answering incoming customer calls
- Responding to emails, letters, faxes, and other enquiries
- Resolving customer queries on first contact where possible
- Logging customer requests on the CRM system
- Providing customers with service request reference numbers
- Informing customers about turnaround times
- Processing customer requests according to standard procedures
- Following up on unresolved customer enquiries
CRM Administration
Your duties will include:
- Capturing customer interactions accurately on the CRM system
- Updating request statuses
- Attaching supporting documentation to customer requests
- Monitoring open emails and customer cases
- Tracking progress of requests submitted to other departments
Stakeholder Support
The successful candidate will:
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve customer issues
- Connect external customers with relevant internal staff
- Escalate unresolved queries to the appropriate business units
- Participate in meetings and task teams when required
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders
Risk and Compliance
Responsibilities include:
- Following all company policies and standard operating procedures

- Adhering to fraud prevention and compliance processes
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and governance standards
Administrative Duties
Additional responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support to the Customer Engagement team
- Reporting system faults affecting operations
- Assisting with customer satisfaction surveys
