About the Role (Tsebo Cleaner Jobs)
As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe working environment by carrying out daily cleaning duties across offices, reception areas, bathrooms, boardrooms, and other designated areas. You will also ensure the correct use of cleaning materials while complying with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Cleaning offices, reception areas, toilets, equipment, and company facilities.
- Emptying office dustbins and disposing of waste correctly.
- Collecting recyclable paper waste for collection.
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms throughout the day.
- Dusting office furniture and workstations.
- Vacuuming carpets regularly.
- Cleaning interior windows according to the cleaning schedule.
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and storing supplies safely.
- Assisting with the preparation of meeting rooms and boardrooms.
- Following Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
- Using cleaning materials and equipment efficiently.
- Assisting with additional cleaning duties when required.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Grade 11 or equivalent qualification with proven cleaning experience.
- Grade 12 will be an added advantage.
- Previous commercial or office cleaning experience.
- Basic literacy and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.
