About the Apprenticeship

The TotalEnergies Apprenticeship Programme 2026 is designed to provide hands-on training in maintenance and engineering.

You will:

  • Work alongside experienced maintenance teams
  • Gain exposure to plant operations
  • Complete structured training and assessments
  • Build technical and workplace skills

Key Responsibilities

As a Millwright Apprentice, you will:

  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental (HSSEQ) standards
  • Assist with maintenance and operational tasks
  • Attend theoretical and practical training sessions
  • Complete logbooks, timesheets, and assessments
  • Maintain equipment and work areas
  • Identify and report safety hazards
  • Follow work permits and risk assessments
  • Be available for overtime and shift work when required

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) with:
    • Mathematics
    • Physical Science

OR

  • N3 / N4 / N5 / N6 Engineering qualification in:
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Electrical / Electronic Engineering

  • Willing to work at heights (e.g. tanks, platforms)
  • Willing to work in confined spaces
