MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
- Computer literacy and accuracy
- Recommendation/nomination as ICCV from a community organisation (not older than 6 months)
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Sound knowledge of Batho Pele principles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
Added advantage:
- Valid driverβs licence

KEY DUTIES
Successful candidates will:
- Visit the correctional facility daily
- Engage with inmates and DCS officials on complaints
- Monitor conditions of incarceration
- Report on deaths, segregation, restraints and use of force
- Support JICS officials during inspections and investigations
- Capture inmate complaints and mandatory matters
- Compile detailed administrative reports
