Purpose of the Learnership
Reporting directly to the Production Foreman, the Production Learner will adhere to all safety regulations and quality specifications required to assemble tyres within the targeted cycle time during the learnership programme.
Key Responsibilities
As a Production Learner, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting risk assessments on production equipment
- Wearing and maintaining personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintaining 3S standards in the work area
- Checking machine controls to ensure proper working condition
- Removing empty spools, trolleys, and rolls from machines
- Returning empty materials to the component section
- Moving raw covers into designated storage bays
- Supplying solutions to production machines
- Working effectively within a team environment
- Meeting production targets as outlined in the programme scope
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 or N3 Certificate
- Mathematics (Pure Maths) and/or Physical Science
