About the Learner Engineer Programme
This programme offers a structured combination of technical learning, hands-on experience, mentorship, and product exposure. Learners will work with experienced Technicians, Engineers, and Managers to gain deep practical knowledge of Sandvik’s products and engineering processes.

Mining Engineering Learners
- Practical exposure to mining applications.
- Opportunity to obtain a Blasting Ticket (Surface or Underground).

Mechanical, Mechatronic, and Industrial Learner Engineer
- Hands-on experience leading to a maintenance trade qualification.
- Preparation for progression from artisan-level understanding to engineering competence.
- Development as a technician or technologist with strong troubleshooting skills.
Engineering Exposure
- Practical training that exceeds typical P1/P2 experiential training requirements.
- Eligibility to register your P1 and P2 once training is completed.
