NPA Internships Overview

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) invites unemployed South African learners to apply for its 24-month internship programme running from 2026 to 2028. This programme provides learners with work experience to fulfill the requirements of their higher education qualifications.

Key points:

  • Must be unemployed learners
  • Must reside in the province where the placement is advertised
  • Only one application per learner is allowed
  • People with disabilities are encouraged to apply
  • Stipends are in line with the DPSA Remuneration Schedule

Application Requirements

Applicants for NPA Internships must:

  • Completed Z83 Form (download at DPSA website)
  • Recently updated comprehensive CV with contactable references
  • Certified copies of ID and qualifications (submit if shortlisted)
  • Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by SAQA
  • Only applications submitted via the designated email addresses will be considered
