Job Purpose (Premier FMCG Driver)

The purpose of this position is to ensure efficient service delivery and increase bakery sales through:

  • On-time and complete product deliveries.
  • Building strong customer relationships.
  • Collecting customer payments.
  • Managing bakery sales assets effectively.
  • Supporting business growth through excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will:

  • Deliver bakery products according to customer schedules.
  • Promote and grow bakery product sales.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Collect payments from customers.
  • Manage delivery vehicles and company assets responsibly.
  • Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards.
  • Follow company policies, safety procedures, and operational requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • A valid Code 10 (C1) driver’s licence.
  • A valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP) that is at least three years old.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a sales or retail environment.
