About the Apprenticeship Programme
The Apprentice Level One programme at Renault Fourways provides hands-on workplace exposure under the supervision of qualified Technicians. Apprentices will assist with vehicle repairs while attending prescribed technical and level-based training courses, developing the practical and theoretical skills required to progress toward becoming a qualified Motor Mechanic Technician.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Level One, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting Technicians with the repair and servicing of motor vehicles
- Removing and replacing vehicle parts and units
- Jacking up vehicles and placing trestles safely
- Lubricating vehicles and changing oils under supervision
- Removing and replacing wheels, batteries, air filters, and oil filters
- Assisting with general vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks
- Cleaning parts and maintaining good housekeeping standards
- Attending all prescribed technical and apprenticeship training courses
- Keeping tools, equipment, overalls, and work areas clean and in good order
- Following all workplace health and safety rules
