Are you an ambitious, unemployed youth eager to start a career in insurance and financial services? The Guardrisk Learnership 2026 offers you the chance to gain workplace experience, accredited qualifications, and a strong foundation in the insurance industry.
Hosted by Guardrisk, an industry-leading insurer within the MMH (Momentum Metropolitan Holdings) group, this learnership provides both theoretical and practical training designed to empower young South Africans to build successful careers in Operations, Claims, and Client Services.
Programme Overview
The Guardrisk Learnership Programme is a structured 12-month training opportunity that allows participants to gain valuable industry-recognised skills while earning a Short-Term and Long-Term Insurance NQF Level 4 qualification (INSETA & SAQA accredited).
During the programme, learners will:
- Participate in classroom sessions and on-the-job training
- Gain a solid understanding of company processes and insurance operations
- Compile a portfolio of evidence for SETA submission
- Complete formative and summative assessments successfully
- Develop customer service, administrative, and operational skills
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Guardrisk Learnership 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen aged 18–30 years
- Hold a Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification
- Achieved:
- Pure Maths: Minimum 60% OR
- Mathematical Literacy: Minimum 70%
- English: Minimum 65%
- Be currently unemployed
- Must not have participated in a learnership previously

- Maintain accurate records and prepare learning portfolios
