About the Eskom YES Programme 2025
The Eskom Youth Employment Service (YES) 2025 is a national initiative designed to provide work experience for unemployed South African youth.
As part of the Presidential YES Programme, Eskom offers 20 internship opportunities within its Shared Services Department at Sunninghill, giving participants a valuable first step into the energy industry.
This initiative aims to help young people gain skills, workplace exposure, and improve employability while supporting Eskom’s mission to build a skilled and diverse workforce.

- Position Title: Youth Employment Service (YES) X20
- Location: Sunninghill, Gauteng
- Contract Duration: 12 months (Fixed-term internship)

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Eskom YES Programme 2025, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be aged between 18 and 34 years
- Have a Grade 12 (Matric) or post-matric certificate/qualification
- Not have been permanently employed for more than one year
- Not be studying full-time during the year of employment
- Not have previously participated in the YES initiative
