Programme Overview (Cookery Internship)

As part of the Culinary Internship 2025, participants will:

• Assist in the preparation of product samples for customer demos, trade shows, and marketing events.
• Support Unilever’s culinary team in content creation for webinars, video tutorials, and product showcases.
• Gain practical experience in food innovation, product presentation, and recipe development.
• Learn from professional chefs and marketing teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Unilever Culinary/Cookery Internship 2025, you must:

• Be a South African citizen, aged 18–34 years
• Be currently unemployed and not studying full-time
• Have completed Matric (Grade 12)
• Hold a tertiary qualification in Culinary or Cookery (Higher Certificate, Diploma, or Degree)
• Have no more than 2 years of work experience
• Be committed to the 12-month programme
• Not have participated in a previous YES Programme
• Possess strong computer literacy and excellent communication skills
• Be eager to learn, proactive, and team-oriented
