Available Learnership Opportunities

Valterra Platinum is currently recruiting candidates for the following engineering learnership programmes:

• Learnership Boilermaker Plater
• Learnership Electrician
• Learnership Instrument Mechanician
• Learnership Millwright
• Learnership Welder

Each learnership provides hands-on training and technical development, preparing candidates to work in high-demand engineering environments.

Learnership Location

The programme will take place at the following operational sites:

• Polokwane Metallurgical Smelter – Limpopo
• Rustenburg Process Operations – North West

These facilities are part of Valterra Platinum’s integrated mining and refining operations.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following minimum requirements:

• Matric certificate with Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy), Physical Science and English with at least 40% pass
• N2 qualification in the relevant engineering discipline
• NCV Level 4 in an appropriate engineering trade with a minimum 40% pass

These academic requirements ensure candidates have the technical foundation necessary for engineering training.
