Programme Overview (Unemployed Learnership)
Value Group is committed to expanding access to education, training, and employment opportunities for unemployed youth. The 2026/2027 Unemployed Learnership Programme offers participants the opportunity to obtain an Occupational Certificate in Supply Chain Practitioner (NQF Level 5).
This structured 12-month learnership combines classroom-based learning with practical workplace experience in the Logistics and Supply Chain Operations sector, equipping learners with skills that enhance employability and career readiness.
Learnership Structure
Classroom Training
- Theoretical and practical training one week per month
- Delivered by accredited training providers
Workplace Experience
- Hands-on experience in an operational logistics environment
- Exposure to real supply chain and warehousing operations
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Working hours: 07:00 – 17:00
- Overtime may be required depending on operational needs
Examination
- Learners must complete the EISA examination at the end of the programme
Monthly Stipend
- A stipend will be provided to assist with travel to the assigned site
- Learners will be accommodated at or near the workplace where applicable
Recruitment & Selection Process
The selection process includes the following stages:
- Panel-based face-to-face interview at the relevant region
- Literacy and numeracy assessments
- Criminal background check
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Unemployed Learnership 2026/2027, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Aged between 21 and 29 years
- Matric Certificate with a minimum 50% pass rate
- South African citizen
- Currently unemployed
- Willing to commit to the full 12-month learnership programme
